Woman's power

I am not telling you about Cleopatra or other powerful woman in history.

It's real and up to date, a woman who I can see everyday. Indeed she is beautiful and she almost takes control of a man's life. Not so young, could be too young for him, ha...ha..ha...They are not my family neither friends, though they live surround us.

Let's say the woman is A, the man is B, just like in math. I just know B since 2 years ago. Many people know him and respected him, as he is a boss of an organization, nice and helpful too. But that was long ...long time ago. Now something has changed his mind, I guess.

Is it L.O.V.E? Probably yes. But 4.000€ /month shouldn't be ignored by a woman. I don't really care about the way people live. They are both available. Nothing special and strange, even B is more than 20 years older than A. Living together without married? Na und? Hey, we are in Europe man, no need to discuss about it here. Even some Indonesians do it (for reasons I never understand).

I have no problem with them. They are nice to me. Although the 1st time A came, she brought a bit trouble for us. But no one listen to her and that happened not so long, because then she left and started her "new life" with B.

It becomes a sad story if we think about an innocent 3-year-old girl. How do I feel when she asked you not to leave her alone, coz her mom is going with B. I wonder what was in her mind when she said “they will never come back” for her. How will she- in her very young age- understand about her mom's behavior? She still remember her dad, although she knows her mom sleeps with other man. I wonder how this will influence her future.

A keep brings problems here and there. Sttt....even B fired one of his staff just because A. Oh man...is he so stupid to realize maybe his carrier will be destroy because of this woman?

Many people said their "love" will not last forever. In the past, B had some women, and none of them stays more than 5 months. Let's wait and see, still they have 3 months to prove something.

I wonder if B also will discharge his Secretary, another strong woman who always surrounds him. If it happens, my 2 thumbs for A. Because then she really can control her man.

Btw, B got the same number euro as a Prof in Gent, with a very big lab, at least 20 PhD students and 3 post docs pro year. Fyi, in 2005 the workaholic Prof already got one of the Flemish-Nobel-prizes for his research and technical applications in environmental technology. And of course, I am still (a bit) proud that I was one of his students :-) for 1 year during my thesis.

Instead of showing their picture, I better put my Prof's, a little reminder about him, his lab and encouragement to keep trying to find something new.

And maybe it is a good reminder for me too, to try another chance in research. Do I ask to much God?
